9/30/2019 0 Comments Photo 2, animalIn this assignment I spent time taking pictures of my dogs and tried to capture their personalities. In my best picture these were the settings... Aperture: f/4.5 Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 800 Reflecting on this project, I feel like I am getting more comfortable with the exposure triangle. It was very fun and I'm sure the dogs enjoyed all the attention too.

9/18/2019 0 Comments Shutter and aperture assignment1) 1/8. 2) 1/15 3) 1/50 4) 1/80 In the first picture I used a slower shutter speed to show the motion, but as I continued taking pictures I increased the shutter speed to where it would eventually freeze Cailee as she was running. 1) f/3.4 2) f/4.5 3) f/5.6 4) f/8.0 In the first picture I started with a f/3.4 aperture. As I kept taking pictures, the aperture increased, along with the depth of field. Questions:
1. A fast shutter speed can freeze a moving image, it also lets in less light. 2. A slow shutter speed shows motion, and lets in more light. 3. A large aperture gives a long depth of field, and lets in more light. 4. A small aperture causes a short depth of field, and lets in less light. 9/10/2019 0 Comments CompisistionFor this assignment we had to take pictures using different strategies, including rule of thirds, pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of field, lines, framing, perspective, space, balance, and color. It was fun going around the school to find picture opportunities.
